Keep your documents organized

Editing Document Name

  1. Open the document — Click on any document in your vault to view its details
  2. Click the document name — The title at the top of the page is editable
  3. Type your new name — Enter a descriptive name that helps you identify the document
  4. Save — Changes are saved automatically

Managing Tags

Tags help you organize and filter your documents. You can add multiple tags to each document.

Adding Tags

  1. Open the document details page
  2. Find the tags section
  3. Click to add a new tag or select from existing tags
  4. Type a tag name and press Enter

Removing Tags

Click the "x" next to any tag to remove it from the document.

Tips for Organization

  • Use descriptive names — Include the type of document and relevant details (e.g., "Apartment Lease - 123 Main St - 2026")
  • Create consistent tags — Use the same tag names across documents (e.g., "lease", "insurance", "employment")
  • Add status tags — Consider tags like "active", "expired", or "needs-review"
