Editing Document Details
Keep your documents organized
Editing Document Name
- Open the document — Click on any document in your vault to view its details
- Click the document name — The title at the top of the page is editable
- Type your new name — Enter a descriptive name that helps you identify the document
- Save — Changes are saved automatically
Managing Tags
Tags help you organize and filter your documents. You can add multiple tags to each document.
Adding Tags
- Open the document details page
- Find the tags section
- Click to add a new tag or select from existing tags
- Type a tag name and press Enter
Removing Tags
Click the "x" next to any tag to remove it from the document.
Tips for Organization
- Use descriptive names — Include the type of document and relevant details (e.g., "Apartment Lease - 123 Main St - 2026")
- Create consistent tags — Use the same tag names across documents (e.g., "lease", "insurance", "employment")
- Add status tags — Consider tags like "active", "expired", or "needs-review"
